Who Will be the Challengers in Race 2 - WCSS

Motoplex hosts the second race of the West Coast Sportsman Series this Saturday night. Local racers are ready to put it all on the line for the for the big trophy and a kiss on the the cheek by Mrs. Motoplex. Mark Berriau came so close to winning the ARCA/WCSS combined event in May, but a parts falure kept him off of the podium. A second in ARCA race two and a third place finish in ARCA race three has only intensified the want to win for the 27 car. Feature winner in 2011, Sarah Cornett-Ching is coming off on an impressive run to fourth in ARCA PG. She is racing hard, and is ready for another win. Kalvin Loudoun, "the junkyard Dog", had two solid runs in ARCA races one and two. A feature winner last year, Loudoun is a fan favorite for the win. Past ARCA champ Matt Stephenson, winner of the WCSS FALL CLASSIC is prepped and in the zone. WCSS rookies Cass Walker and Barry Clayton were looking solid at ARCA PG. Don Nickel has been tuning up and is overdue for a podium finish. We are looking forward to a great night of racing, come on out and be a part of the fun.

WCSS race number two is ready to fly this weekend at Motoplex. All the local WCSS drivers are geared up and ready. Come out and see 100 laps of the best local saturday night racing around.  

WCSS racers ready for ARCA Ok Tire Combined Race

The local Saturday night sportsman racers are ready to do battle with the ARCA OK Tire Touring regulars. The WCSS drivers have been working hard to challenge touring drivers in the first of two combined events at Motoplex Speedway. May 12 is race 1 for both the WCSS/ARCA series. Many of the best cars in the province will compare notes this weekend. The competition will be fierce. WCSS is gearing up for a great season at Motoplex

The WCSS is getting ready for another season of great sportsman racing. The 2012 tentative schedule is posted on the menu bar. The excitment is building as we have some new sporstman racers getting ready for thier rookie season. We also have a collection of various racers and cars returning from time off and other verntures to compete. The WCSS has evolved into a fun and competitive saturday night show.The WCSS has a loyal group of fans who attend every night to watch the hometown heros battle it out. We are putting together the details for the "HOT SUMMER NIGHTS" mini series. Past winners have collected the "BIG CHEQUE". Come on out and run the BIG TRACK. Everyone's invited.

Thanks to all racers who supported the WCSS racing season this year. The WCSS has become the premier saturday show for sportmsan cars in BC. WCSS Banquet Information - 2011

Hello Sportsman Racers,

The WCSS banquet is combined with the SS and Hornet racers this year. It will be a bunch of fun as usual.

It is at the Village Green Hotel  in Vernon. On October 29 2011.
